No. 5/7 UND beat Murray State 55-28 on Homecoming Saturday, according to UND Athletics, extending the Fighting Hawks' Homecoming winning streak to seven.
How It Went
Murray State jumped out to a 21-0 lead, per UND Athletics and KFYR-TV. From there, UND Athletics reports, the Fighting Hawks outscored the Racers 24-0 in the second quarter and 28-0 in the third.
Senior quarterback Jerry Kaminski completed 18 of 24 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for a career-high 98 yards and a score, UND Athletics reported. Sophomore Cameron Weir returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown and added a 17-yard touchdown catch, per UND Athletics. Classmate Charles Langama scored on runs of 26 and 33 yards and finished with 106 rushing yards, the school said.
The victory was also the 700th in program history, a tradition dating to 1894, according to UND Athletics.
