The University of North Dakota says a section of Campus Road near the Strinden Road intersection in Grand Forks will close Nov. 4-6 for installation of a new gas line.
According to UND, eastbound Campus Road traffic will detour north to University Avenue via Strinden Road, while westbound traffic will detour north at Centennial Drive. Cities Area Transit routes will follow the detour and bypass the stop at Hughes Fine Arts Center, the university said.
UND said the closure will be on the east side of the intersection, extending to the southwest access point of the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center parking lot. The lot will remain open, but its southernmost access point on the west side will close for equipment staging. The university said the lot cannot be used to bypass the closure.
