The University of North Dakota Theatre Arts will present a stage production of “The Addams Family” at Starcher Hall’s Starcher Stage in Grand Forks, with performances starting Friday, Oct. 9, according to the UND Events Calendar.
The calendar lists performances Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9 and 10, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. Further performances are scheduled for Oct. 15, 16 and 17 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., and Oct. 18 from 2 to 4 p.m., according to the calendar.
The announcement describes the show as a comedy about Wednesday Addams falling in love with a young man from a respectable family her parents have not met. Wednesday asks her father, Gomez, to keep the relationship secret from Morticia; the family’s circumstances change when they host dinner for Wednesday’s boyfriend and his parents, the calendar says.
The venue is at 10 Cornell St. in Grand Forks, according to UND. The listing says a student ID is not required, but does not provide ticket prices. It lists Chris Berg as the contact, at christopher.berg@UND.edu or 701-777-3446.
