If you're looking for a fall night out in Grand Forks, country duo Sugarland is scheduled to play the Alerus Center on Sunday, Oct. 18.
What's been announced
Valley News Live reported in August that Sugarland's "Ride or Die" tour will stop at the Alerus Center on Oct. 18. The tour marks 20 years since the duo's breakout album "Enjoy the Ride," according to the tour announcement. The Alerus Center's event listing shows a 7 p.m. start; check ahead with the venue to confirm whether that is doors or showtime.
Valley News Live also reported that the Grand Forks date is one stop on a 26-city U.S. run that starts Oct. 1 and ends Nov. 21. The station named "All I Want to Do," "Stay," "Stuck Like Glue" and "Baby Girl" among the duo's hits. Tour announcement materials say the duo has sold nearly 10 million albums.
Tickets
According to Valley News Live, tickets went on sale Aug. 14 through Ticketmaster and the Alerus Center box office. We haven't confirmed current availability or pricing, so check the Alerus Center event page or Ticketmaster before you plan around it. Resale sites list tickets too, but those prices are set by sellers.
Why it matters here
Large national touring acts keep the Alerus Center on the fall calendar. For Grand Forks and East Grand Forks residents, that means a country show close to home on a Sunday night.
