Danielle Jones, based at the North Dakota Small Business Development Centers’ Lead Center in Grand Forks, has been named the ND SBDC’s 2026 State Star, the University of North Dakota announced Oct. 20.
The America’s SBDC award recognizes people for performance, contributions to their networks and dedication to small businesses, according to UND. Jones and other State Star recipients were honored at the organization’s annual training event in Atlanta in late September.
Jones is communications manager for the ND SBDC and UND’s Center for Business Engagement & Development, the announcement said. She coordinates communications and outreach statewide and supports the network’s center directors and advisers, including with client intake, data management, reporting and process improvements.
ND SBDC State Director Tiffany Ford said Jones helps small business owners connect with resources and strengthens awareness of the organization’s work. Jones previously served as a client relations specialist for the Center for Business Engagement & Development and holds the Certified Professional Business Advisor credential, according to UND.
The ND SBDC provides confidential business advising and training at no cost to clients, the announcement said. For information, call 701-777-3700, email leadcenter@ndsbdc.org or visit ndsbdc.org.
